Leicester have completed major improvements to their Slater Street circuit over the past two weeks. Provision for new drainage and centre green water supply have been installed and the outer kerb has been raised by as much as 130mm. The outer track concrete has also been renewed and some ten tonnes of new shale added.

“We were aware that much of the banking had been lost over the years contributing to riders running wide off the bends” said a club spokesman “We are hopeful that the work will not only improve the stadium visually but also rectify this problem.”
